You may already know that Patara is a fascinating and historical region in the middle of beautiful countryside. Every time you visit Patara, we invite you to see and enjoy some of this region by land, water, jeep, hiking or boat. If you want a completely different day, join one of our canoe excursions and experience the natural environment along the Xanthos river. You will have the opportunity to see river turtles, wild birds and crabs as you paddle through the forest, such as the riverbank. After canoeing, there will be plenty of time to enjoy a rejuvenating mud bath. After lunch, you can relax even more by swimming and sunbathing at the world-famous Patara beach.

We do canoe adventure 6 days a week. You don't need canoeing experience to enjoy a pleasant day in Patara National Park. You will have fun, sun and nature at the same time. The trip to Patara starts at 10:00 and the journey to Xanthos river takes about 15 minutes. First of all, our experienced guides give briefing on canoeing. Then everyone gets ready for kayaking by applying sunscreen and giving important items to our guides for safety. The adventure starts at 10:30. The whole journey along the river is 15 km. After giving you information on using the canoes, we put them in the water. If the current is not very strong, we can go canoeing on the river for half an hour, then we will have free time to swim and eat fresh fruits. Then the adventure continues for another half hour. Then people rest for a while and take a mud bath. The group arrives at the barbecue area at approximately 13:30. We serve lunch. After some rest, the group goes to the canoe and continues at 15:30. We have 1 hour to walk and swim on the beach where the river meets the sea in Patara, and then we bring you back.

Safety
1. Four Lifeguard Certified Guides will look after the guests and their safety. If you have any questions or need help, please ask them.
2. Life jackets are provided to all guests.
3. Painted rope is available to help anyone in the water.
4. Sunglasses string is provided.
5. First aid equipment is always available.
6. A powerboat may monitor everyone's progress and in an emergency may transfer persons to a ground vehicle or provide any necessary assistance.
7. Our guides will identify all swimmers and non-swimmers.
8. All names will be taken to complete the required insurance documents.
9. No prior kayaking experience is required as full instruction and assistance is provided.
10. The lifeboat will be ready while swimming.
